Another novelty compared to the previous years is the increase in the maximum budget, now set at € 25,000,000. The deadline for submission of applications ends next October 2 at 12:00. The call can be accessed through this link.

The resolution of the new call for the NEOTEC Aid Program of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) incorporates a novelty that benefits the startups installed in the Spanish science parks. Among the evaluation criteria, the score of 7 points is awarded to those companies housed in a recognized incubation center, such as the University of Valencia Science Park. If not, it will add 0 points in this section.

In addition, the CDTI has increased up to 25,000,000 euros the maximum budget for these grants . The public entity may finance up to 70% of the action budget, with a maximum grant amount of 250,000 euros per beneficiary. However, the action must have a minimum budget of 175,000 euros.

The program is configured to finance the start-up of new business projects, which require the use of technologies or knowledge developed from the research activity and in which the business strategy is based on the development of technology.

However, only small companies may participate (those that employs less than 50 people and whose annual turnover or annual general balance does not exceed 10 million euros), which are not quoted and which must be established at the most three years prior to the closing date of the deadline for submitting the application and from the date of granting the deed of incorporation of the company.

The deadline for submission of applications ends next October 2 at 12:00. The call can be accessed through this link.
