The companies located in the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV), Datipic, a company dedicated to research, development and innovation in artificial intelligence and computing, with a focus on the development of algorithms applied to Big Data, analysis, processing, modelling, prediction and visualisation of data; and DNAmic Biosystems, a pre-clinical biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the development of pioneering technologies in cellular engineering programmable and guided within the body, have been included among the 100 most innovative projects in Spain in 2025, according to APTE.
The sectoral distribution of the list reflects a clear leadership of digital technologies, followed by an increasing weight of areas such as health, biotechnology, sustainability and energy. Alongside these sectors, relevant initiatives are also emerging in the industrial, aeronautical, electronic and consulting and engineering fields, which demonstrates the diversity and strength of the innovative ecosystem present in the Spanish science and technology parks.
Datipic is a company located in the University of Valencia Science Park and incubated by AgrotecUV, founded by Lorena Martínez, Ángel González and Cristian Fernández, and dedicated to research, development and innovation in artificial intelligence and informatics, with a focus on the development of algorithms applied to Big Data, analysis, processing, modelling, prediction and visualization of data. Analysis of the list reveals that 42 out of 100 startups have at least one woman in a management position, which is almost half of the total.
In this edition, 3 of the selected startups have emerged thanks to APTENISA, the APTE ideation and acceleration program developed with the support of ENISA, which demonstrates the impact of this initiative on the generation of new technology companies.
To publicize these start-ups, APTE has created a section on its website in which you can consult the sector of activity in which they fall, the scientific and technological park in which they are located, their website, the range of annual turnover, the investment taken by each, the investment status in which they are located and the year of establishment. The information is completed by a brochure which includes a description of each company in English and Spanish.
The objective pursued by APTE with this initiative, which is being carried out for the third consecutive year, is to recognize the talent and entrepreneurial capacity developed in the Spanish science and technology parks, as well as facilitating the access of these startups to potential investors interested in high growth projects.
The Asociación de Science and Technology Parks of Spain was created in 1989 as a non-profit association whose main objective is to contribute, through the development and dissemination of science and technology parks, to the renewal and diversification of productive activity, technological progress and economic development. It currently has 61 member parks spread throughout Spain. 53 of them are Partner parks, that is, fully operational, 4 are Affiliate parks which is in the process of development and finally 4 members Collaborators. In 2024, these parks hosted 6,000 entities with a turnover of 31.576 million euros. These firms employ more than 168,462 people, of whom 42,170 are engaged in R & D work.
