The ONCONOURISH project, promoted from the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) by Ibions, together with Datipic, both from the business area of the PCUV, and the association of cancer patients TheMoveMen, has won the FOODITY Star Award, after the final tournament held in Brussels on 22 and 23 October 2025. ONCONOURISH was competitively selected from almost 200 proposals along with five other projects, as part of FOODITY, a Horizon Europe-funded programme that seeks to transform European food systems through digital solutions focused on health, Sustainability and food equity, ensuring the protection of citizens' data.
ONCONOURISH is a project that develops IBIONS360, an innovative oncology nutrition platform designed to help cancer patients improve their diet in a personalized way. Uses artificial intelligence to record your meals and offer recommendations adapted to the clinical situation, preferences, allergies or intolerances. In addition, workshops have been organized with cancer patients to co-create the tool and allow the platform to respond to their real needs, offering them free access for testing and feedback.
"We are very proud that ONCONOURISH has received the FOODITY Star Award. This award recognizes the work of the entire team and motivates us to continue developing solutions that really help improve the lives of cancer patients," says Sara Bañón Escandell, CEO and co-founder of IBIONS.

"I am very proud that ONCONOURISH has received the FOODITY Star Award. This recognition is the result of the efforts of the entire team and drives us to continue developing innovative solutions that improve the lives of cancer patients across Europe. However, we have to go step by step and I hope that this recognition will help us to be able to use our tool in Rioja hospitals and also to be able to help people with cancer from La Rioja, who do not always have the possibilities of people living in big cities like Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia", says Julio Madrigal, Nutrition Projects Director at TheMovemen and co-founder of Ibions.
With this step , ONCONOURISH consolidates the UV Science Park as a reference ecosystem in innovation in nutrition for cancer and artificial intelligence, as well as remaining a space of synergy and collaboration between its companies to generate projects with a high social impact.
