In the framework of this action Qomer, from its area of social awareness and education for development, offered this workshop, aligned with the priorities of the Erasmus+ program of the European framework.

This workshop aimed to bring the concept of SUSTAINABILITY to the attendees from its social, economic and environmental dimensions, to later focus on everything related to the food system and the opportunities to promote sustainable food, also from the educational field.

The purpose of this initiative was to promote the exchange of experiences and to bring together specific initiatives on environmental responsibility and more sustainable attitudes at all levels that could be a source of inspiration for future activities to be developed by these educators.

The workshop had a participatory approach, with a space where the participants were invited to design small initiatives that would take up the key ideas offered during the training action.

Q'omer develops this type of workshops in order to promote a rights-based approach, and to address concepts that are key to this social enterprise, such as Circular Economy, Climate Change, Biodiversity, or the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This workshop is in addition to other training and collaborative actions developed by Qomer that strengthen its role in raising awareness and promoting environmental social responsibility in all areas.
