The Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV), of which the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) is a member, created a strategic plan in 2018 to contribute to the consolidation of one of its main objectives: to stimulate innovation and boost the economic development of the Valencian Community. The Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV), currently headed by Tonia Salinas, director-manager of the Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University (PCUMH) of Elche, organized last September 28th and 29th in Valencia, at the headquarters of ADEIT - University-Business Foundation of the University of Valencia, a conference of reflection to define the strategic plan of the network for the period 2023-2026. Specifically, during the session, the directors-managers of the science and technology parks attached to the rePCV, including those of the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV), evaluated the previous strategy, and identified and analyzed new opportunities, possible challenges, strengths to exploit and areas for improvement.
In order to carry out this analysis and draw conclusions, the members of the Network have been advised by University of Valencia consultants Tomás Gonzáles and Clara Martínez. In addition, these experts have offered them support to establish and set the next strategic objectives. At the same time, two training sessions were organized for technicians and technicians from the different parks. Thus, the consultant specialized in Innovation and Transfer Eloy Lopez has given a lecture on spin-offs generation and initiatives that favor their business growth. For his part, the CEO of the company DCN, Lucas Martínez, focused on the mechanisms of knowledge transfer between research groups and companies. Finally, attendees were also able to discuss the latest developments of the Innotransfer open innovation project and propose different actions to optimize this initiative.

The event was attended by the manager of the Alicante Science Park, Esteban Pelayo, and the technicians of the entity Mar Cervera and Laura Cifuentes; the director of Espaitec Parc Científic i Tecnològic de la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló, Juan Antonio Bertolín, and the technician Laura Menéndez; the manager of the Fundació Parc Científic Universitat de València, Fernando Zárraga, the director of the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV), Pedro Carrasco, and the technicians Vicent Clemente and Luis Cortés. Also, the director of the Polytechnic City of Innovation-Universitat Politècnica de València, Juan Vicente Capella, and the technicians Carlos Domene and Rosario Sanchis; and the director-manager of the UMH Science Park and president of the rePCV, Tonia Salinas, and the technician of the entity, José Ramón Gonzálvez.

The rePCV brings together the five science parks of the Valencian public universities: the Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche; Espaitec, Science and Technology Park of the Jaume I University of Castelló; the University of ValenciaScience Park; the Polytechnic City of Innovation of the Polytechnic University of Valencia; and the Science Park of Alicante-University of Alicante.
