The IRIS (IFIMED-IFIC) research group has just published results that indicate the validity of a new Compton telescope for hadron therapy in the journals Frontiers in Oncology and Physics in Medicine. The new system aims to effectively establish the place where radiation is deposited during this type of therapy aimed at tumours, a decisive point in its clinical application.
