News # The Science Park hosts the second meeting of Agroinncuba-CYTED, international network for the creation and support of agro-food startups 30/04/2018 Share this news: - ![](https://news.pcuv.es/hubfs/Blog/images/share.svg) - ![](https://news.pcuv.es/hubfs/Blog/images/printer.svg) ![](https://news.pcuv.es/hubfs/agroinncuba-3.jpg) The University of Valencia Science Park hosts the second meeting of Agroinncuba-CYTED, an international network born to promote the creation and support of agro-food startups. Starting Wednesday, May 2, throughout three days responsible for six science parks and incubators in Ibero-America will analyze the activities carried out by the network in 2017 and plan the activities of the current year. The vicerector of Strategy, Quality and Information Technologies of the Universitat de València, **Joaquín Aldás-Manzano**, has inaugurated this meeting. Agroinncuba is composed of **[Inovisa](http://inovisa.pt/)** (Portugal), **[Minerva](https://unlp.edu.ar/vinculacion_tecnologica/minerva-9237)** (Universidad Nacional de la Plata, Argentina), **Unicetec** (Universidad de Sao Paulo, Brazil), **[Incubatec](https://www.incubatec.cl/)**(Universidad de la Frontera, Chile), **[Parque Biopacífico](http://parquebiopacifico.com/)** (Colombia), **[Centro de Innovación Educativa en Ingeniería](http://ingenieria.uao.edu.co/CIEI/)** (Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, Colombia),  **[UAB Research Park](http://www.uab.cat/web/parc-de-recerca-1345468452273.html)** (Spain) and **[University of Valencia Science Park](https://www.pcuv.es/en/home)**(Spain). Among the actions carried out by the network in 2017, Agroinncuba-CYTED launched [the International Landing Pilot Program](http://www.pcuv.es/agroinncuba/Actividades/Programa-landing.html). This initiative has allowed to start collaborations between the members and has facilitated access to new markets to two emerging companies, the Spanish ç[Q’omer Bioactive Ingredients](http://qomer.eu/), located in UVSP, amd the Chilean [Prevenzia](http://prevenzia.cl/es/). During this second meeting, the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation has organized a breakfast-networking between the firms housed in the Science Park and the Ibero-American managers. The objective is to make visible the business opportunities provided especially in South America. Likewise, a training workshop will be held from the *[Kit de Recursos para Startups](https://www.pcuv.es/es/kit-recursos-start-ups/presentacion.html)* taught by the author of the publication published by the UVSPF, the business management and strategy specialist **José María Mateu**. In addition, an attendee's meeting has been scheduled with **Olga Francés**, responsible for the Alicante Science Park and a member of the **[Iberincu](http://www.iberincu.org/)**international network, also sponsored by CYTED. The participants will also engage with **José Luis García**, manager of the incubators of technology-based companies of CYTED and director of the [Institute for Integrative Systems Biology](https://www.uv.es/institute-integrative-systems-biology-i2sysbio/en/institut-de-biologia-integrativa-de-sistemes-i2sysbio.html) (i2sysbio).
