CDTI and IVACE experts inform about their R+D+i funding programs today in the Science Park

The Science Park of the University of Valencia Foundation (SPUVF) has organised next Tuesday 12 September an informative day with the purpose that the greater number of companies benefits of the R+D+i financing projects offered by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) and by Instituto Valenciano de Competiticidad Empresarial (IVACE).

Recently CDTI has opened, until 20 September, the term of reception of applications for the new edition of NEOTEC Helps. In this case it will have 20 million euros to subsidise business projects in which the strategy of business is based in the development of own technology generated from research. For that reason, previous appointment, the companies interested will be able to keep individual meetings of a maximum of 20 minutes with CDTI technicians to review its proposal.

Requirements

To receive NEOTEC financing, the CDTI demands certain requirements to the companies. In addition to accrediting their innovative capacity, tehy have to be small companies (that occupy to less than 50 people and whose volume of annual businesses or whose annual general balance does not surpass the 10 million euros); they do not have to be valued; and they must have a minimum social capital of 20.000 euros disbursed entirely before the presentation of the application.

The costs payed by NEOTEC grants will be investments in equipment, teams and material; external collaborations and consultancies; rents and supplies; canons and licences; application of patents and other rights; and insurances and derivative expenses of auditor report. Nevertheless, they will not be able to fund the subsidy of financial expenses; VAT; works, terrains and buildings; vehicles of transport; and expenses of food and living expenses.
