After the closing of the 3rd call of the incubation program of AgrotecUV, the incubator and accelerator of the University of Valencia (UV) and the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation (FPCUV), eight new startups have been selected for their innovation in the agri-food sector.
The call has exceeded all expectations, receiving more than 40 high quality proposals, which has made the task of choosing the finalists especially challenging. Once again, AgrotecUV has reaffirmed its global reach, registering applications from up to six different countries.
This response reflects the growing interest in sustainable solutions in the agri-food sector and consolidates AgrotecUV as a benchmark in supporting innovative initiatives. In addition, the new facilities located in the University of Valencia Science Park, considered a hub for leading companies in the agri-food sector and its direct relationship with the university and the various research groups, in addition to the AgrotecUV Community, which already has more than 50 entities, represents an unparalleled opportunity for collaboration at a scientific-technical level for the applicant startups.
From now on, the selected projects will have access to all the advantages of the incubation program, which includes specialized training, personalized support and access to AgrotecUV Lab, the shared-use laboratory equipped for the selected startups, among other resources designed to boost their development.
With this new generation of startups, AgrotecUV reaffirms its commitment to promote an innovation model that contributes to a more sustainable and efficient agri-food system.
