This agreement, endowed with a financial amount of 10,000 euros, is intended this year for the renovation of the Closed Circuit Television Security System (CCTV) to ensure the safety of its facilities
The City Council of Paterna and the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation have renewed the collaboration agreement, which has a financial envelope of 10,000 euros, to be invested in the renovation of the Closed Circuit Television Security System (CCTV) to ensure the safety of the facilities of the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV).
Beyond the overall protection of facilities, a modern and robust CCTV is essential to safeguard the intellectual property and high-value assets that the more than 90 PCUV companies manage. In a space where cutting-edge research, unique prototypes and sensitive data are carried out, CCTV acts as a deterrent against industrial espionage and information theft, guaranteeing a visual record of any intrusion attempt. It also facilitates the monitoring of laboratories with expensive and sensitive equipment, contributing to operational safety and compliance with specific regulations in research environments.
Pedro Carrasco, director of the University of Valencia Science Park and patron of the FPCUV, has assured that this agreement is "key to further strengthen the PCUV business ecosystem and ensure the security of research and results from companies, many of them engaged in critical sectors such as artificial intelligence or cybersecurity".

Under this agreement, the FPCUV will implement and maintain this equipment that will allow monitoring of compliance with security protocols, internal traffic monitoring, detection of anomalies in critical infrastructures and emergency management, as fires or evacuations providing real-time information as well as an objective record of events.
Since its creation, the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation has established itself as a reference in the management of spaces for innovative companies linked to university research. Through this agreement, it reaffirms its role in dynamizing the entrepreneurial ecosystem and continues to promote public-private collaboration as a way to move towards a more sustainable, technological and competitive production model, one of the main values of the entity.
With this joint action, the University of Valencia Science Park consolidates its reference role in knowledge transfer, innovative entrepreneurship and the connection between university, business and society.
