Four companies of the Science Park, finalists of the III Paterna City of Companies Awards

The winners will be known this afternoon at a gala at the Antonio Ferrandis Grand Theater

ValGenetics, Imegen, Intenanomat and Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence, installed in the University of Valencia Science Park, compete as finalists for the III Paterna City of Companies Awards, recognitions granted by the city council to promote the social recognition of the figure of the local business and disclose the performance of their work for the society.

In the Women Entrepreneur category, two technologists from the Science Park are present, María Albiach Martí, CEO of Valgenetics, a company specialized in biotechnological solutions for the agricultural sector; and Ángela Pérez, CEO of Imegen, a reference company in genetics and genomics. The third finalist is Juani Serrano Morenilla, CEO of Géser Electric, electrical installations firm.

For its part, Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence, founded by a team of scientists with more than 25 years of experience in microbiology and microbial ecology to offer microbial solutions on demand, will compete in the category of Business Research and Innovation. It will do it with Laiex, dedicated to the manufacture of latex, acrylic and vinyl polymers; the Vento Group, specialized in the design and manufacture of industrial machinery; and Surgival, which is responsible for the development and manufacture of surgical instruments and implants for orthopedic surgery and traumatology.

In the local micropyme category, Intenanomat, specialized in the synthesis of different types of nanoparticles, is finalist with Assistance Panel, which offers masonry, electricity, plumbing and locksmith services; and Concha Pinazo Inmobiliaria.

The awards will be presented this afternoon, at 7:00 p.m., at the Antonio Ferrandis Grand Theater. After the event, a wine of honor will take place for all and all attendees.
