Q'omer gives a training workshop on sustainability for Polish teachers at the Parc Científic

The company dedicated to agri-food development and innovation offers training from May 22 to 25 to teachers from Poland within the framework of the European Erasmus+ program in collaboration with the company EducaProjects

'Sustainability matters, or how to bring sustainable development closer to citizens' is the title of the course given by the company Q'omer, a company located in the Science Park of the University of Valencia (PCUV). Q'omer, a company located in the Science Park of the University of Valencia (PCUV), which adds to its scientific and commercial work the development of training and awareness workshops to enhance the commitment to sustainability.

From Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th May, the agri-food development and innovation company is giving a training workshop at the Parc Científic facilities framed in sustainability. The course is developed in coordination with EducaProjects, a Valencian company of European mobility. 

"This course is being developed for twelve teachers from a school in the Polish municipality of Przemystka, who come, through an action of the European Erasmus+ program, to acquire new knowledge, practical experiences and tools to transfer to their school and students," explains Juancho Escobar, founder and CEO of the company.

The focus of the workshop includes a look at sustainability towards Human Rights, through concepts such as circular economy, climate change, biodiversity and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which the course addresses with the application of social innovation tools to promote collaborative learning.

"This training, in addition to awakening interest in these issues, seeks to provide new tools and resources, share best practices and above all generate spaces for debate and reflection on issues of global interest," Escobar said.
