Enerlind, finalist among the top 10 startups of the PropTech StartUp & ScaleUp Europe Awards

The industrial design company specialized in solar energy and housing energy efficiency has participated in this initiative that gives visibility and support to the most promising start-ups and scale-ups in innovation in the real estate sector in Europe

The PropTech StartUp & ScaleUp Europe Awards competition takes place in the framework of StartUp Europe and is supported and promoted by the European Commission and the Finnova Foundation, supported by the President of the European Parliament, the President of the Committee of the Regions, the Vice-President of the Economic and Social Committee and several Members of the European Parliament. These awards are a European initiative that gives visibility and support to the most promising startups and scale-ups in the field of innovation and disruptive transformation in the real estate sector.

Based on the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles, “beautiful, sustainable, together”, the more than 400 applications were evaluated by a jury of 70 professionals from the real estate and construction industry, as well as professionals from EU institutions, who selected 50 companies to present at the semi-finals and finals in Brussels, on the criteria of how the solutions and projects presented interact in practice with the latest European regulations.

Enerlind, trademark of Energy Blind, startup awarded in the last edition of VLC/STARTUP of the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) and which aims to bring solar energy to the city in an integrated way through photovoltaic blinds, reached the final being recognized as one of the 10 best startups in the sector in Europe. “Entering this type of competition is always an opportunity to make our progress visible. It has been a very pleasant experience and encourages us to continue working”, celebrates Guillermo López, co-founder and CEO of Enerlind, a company that aims to provide solutions to reduce CO2 emissions through the development of products with integrated batteries and management systems that facilitate self-consumption in homes.

The award ceremony and final pichting was held in Brussels on September 17 with the attendance of the board members of the PropTech StartUp & ScaleUp Europe Association, the representative of the European Commissioner and all members of the jury and during the Realty 2024 Real Estate Summit in the presence of a representative of the European Commission.
