Companies linked to the R+D+i ecosystem of public universities in Valencia will be awarded for the seventh year in the awards of the Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV), of which the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) is part, in the categories «Spin-off Award», «Start-up Award», «Business-University Collaboration Award», and as a novelty, there will be a «Special Mention for Innovation in the Face of Climate Events». In this seventh edition, each modality will have one winner and up to a maximum of two second places in each of the categories, except for the special mention that there will be only one recognition.
The gala of the «VII rePCV Awards» will be held on Friday, 7 November 2025 at 11.30am in the Multipurpose Room of the Espaitec 2 building (Campus Universitat Jaume I). The companies that win the prize in each of the three categories and the recognition in the special mention will be entitled to a report/interview in the magazine Economia 3 about the winners and the gala of the «VII rePCV Awards», which will be published in January 2026.

The initiative is part of the agreements signed by the Council of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism with the five science parks of the public universities in the Valencian Community to strengthen interconnections in scientific fields, technological and entrepreneurial in our territory.
The «VII rePCV Awards» recognize the activity of initiatives linked to public universities, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the Valencian Community, considering their growth, innovative character, business strategy and contribution to the environment.
The gala for the «VII rePCV Awards» will feature institutional representation from the Valencian Network of Scientific Parks (rePCV), the University Jaume I, and the Council of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Genaralitat Valenciana.
The event will feature the presentation of Fran Chuan, expert speaker in culture of innovation and authentic leadership, who will make an exhibition focused on the culture of business innovation and organizations. Chuan has over three decades of professional career, and developing projects with organizations from different sectors in Europe, America and Asia, focusing on cultural transformation and fostering innovative environments.

The gala will also be attended by Big Van Science, a group of scientists and researchers who perform scientific monologues with the aim of transforming scientific communication into an attractive product for all audiences. Once the awards have been given, there will be a networking lunch in the Multipurpose Room of the Espaitec 2 building (Campus University Jaume I).
In the first category, «Spin-off Award», it is intended to recognize companies promoted by Teaching and Research Staff (PDI), doctors or doctoral students who have been created from the exploitation of research results and are linked to any of the Valencian science parks.
For its part, the «start-up award» is aimed at innovative companies promoted by students or former students from any of the public universities in Valencia. These firms must be located or linked to any of the scientific parks in Valencia and be incorporated after 30 June 2020.
The formal award ceremony will be held at the gala, in public event from the Espaitec 2 Multipurpose Room on the campus of the University Jaume I of Castelló, on Friday 7 November 2025 at 12h
Also, the «Enterprise-University Collaboration Award» is addressed to companies that participate with any of the public universities in Valencia in R & D programs and/ or projects whose results have contributed to establish a close and continuous relationship of collaboration, the development of the Valencian economy.
The «Special mention for innovation in the face of climate events» is addressed to innovative companies located in the Valencia region or start-ups that have been successful in projects financed by the Council of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana all constituted after 30 June 2020.
The formal delivery of the awards will be held at the gala, in a public event from the Multipurpose Room of Espaitec 2 on the campus of the University Jaume I of Castelló, on Friday 7 November 2025 at 12h.
The Valencian Network of Science Parks (rePCV) is an entity formed by the Polytechnic City of Innovation - Polytechnic University of Valencia, by the Miguel Hernández of Elche University Science Park, by the University of Valencia Science Park, by the Science Park of Alicante-University of Alicante and Espaitec, Science and Technology Park of the Jaume I University of Castelló.
