3,500 companies based on innovation and knowledge, settled throughout the territory of the Comunitat Valenciana, are the target of the survey of the III Program of Characterization of Innovative Companies to promote their projection (PICEI). This study is being carried out by the five science parks of the Valencian region, coordinated by the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation. For this, they have the support of the Agència Valenciana de la Innovació (AVI) and the information collected -aggregated, distributed in an attractive scorecard and referred to the year 2020- will allow to dimension the business innovation of this region.
In the survey, the managers will provide, among others, data on the type of innovation they develop, the technologies they use, the technical profile of their staff, their investment in R&D&I, percentages of international sales and whether they have protected intellectual and/or industrial property.
Among all the companies that participate in the Program, the creation and production of five corporate videos will be raffled. In addition, they will have the opportunity to compete in the III Awards of the Network of Science Parks of the Valencian Community (rePCV), which will recognize the best start-up, the best spin-off and the most significant company for its collaboration with universities.
