The event has established itself as a meeting point for the local and provincial business network, with the collaboration of the Paterna City Council and the Valencia Chamber of Commerce
The Mayor of Paterna, Juan Antonio Sagredo, highlighted “the economic potential of the city, the first Strategic Industrial Municipality of the Comunitat Valenciana, with more than 3,000 companies, three Business Management Entities (EGM), and two Advanced Industrial Zones,” and expressed his gratitude “to all the companies and individuals who choose Paterna as a strategic location to grow economically and develop their business future”
Paterna, home to the innovative hub of the Parc Científic de la Universitat de València (PCUV), gathered over 200 attendees at the Kinépolis venue to celebrate the Paterna City of Enterprises Awards. This event has become a meeting point for the local and provincial business community. Specifically, during the ninth edition of these awards, the Paterna City Council, in collaboration with the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, recognised the achievements of eight companies based in the Valencian municipality with a €500 cheque from CCV to invest in training.
The awards gala, held on 19 December, was marked by emotion during the presentation of the Special Award, posthumously granted this year to two Valencian entrepreneurs, José Luis Marín and Vicente Tarancón, who sadly passed away due to the DANA and whose business projects are deeply linked to the city.
The Mayor of Paterna and president of the Paterna City of Enterprises association, Juan Antonio Sagredo, who opened the event, expressed his affection for the two recognised entrepreneurs, referring to them as "two great friends and two incredible individuals."
Juan Antonio Sagredo also highlighted “the economic potential of the city, the first Strategic Industrial Municipality of the Comunitat Valenciana, with more than 3,000 companies, three Business Management Entities (EGM), and two Advanced Industrial Zones,” and expressed his gratitude “to all the companies and individuals who choose Paterna as a strategic location to grow economically and develop their business future.”
During his speech, the mayor mentioned “some of the city’s recent business successes, such as Paterna being chosen as the location for Spain’s first hadron therapy infrastructure or the recent Circular Economy award granted by the FEMP to Paterna’s industrial symbiosis project.”
