To these spaces is added a coworking area located in the Beatriu Civera Building of the Tarongers Campus of the University of Valencia.

The FPCUV also continues to promote strategic projects related to the expansion and modernization of its infrastructure, such as the development of the building that will house the National Dosimetry Center and the consolidation of the IATECUV High-Tech Incubator, specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Enabling Technologies.

In these areas, numerous entities and companies are active with a special focus on research, technological development and innovation (R & D+i). The FPCUV complements this work with business advisory and support services, as well as participation in various innovation promotion programmes, many of which are supported by public administrations.

Within the framework of its mission, the Foundation promotes an entrepreneurial culture among university groups in collaboration with other actors in the innovation system; it promotes the dissemination of the results of university research and public institutions; encourages the creation of sustainable and competitive technological enterprises within the business park; and works continuously for quality in management and service delivery; contributing to the improvement of business competitiveness and the economic and social development of the Valencian Community.

Created in 2009 by the University of Valencia and under the supervision of the Generalitat Valenciana, the FPCUV is a non-profit entity whose mission is to promote research, technological development, innovation and knowledge transfer, managing the business area of the Science Park in accordance with the guidelines set by its Board and strengthening the connection between university, company and society.

Strategic actions and lines of action for 2026

The meeting of the board reviewed actions aimed at the management, maintenance and dynamization of the innovation ecosystem of the Science Park which, in addition to the ten research institutes, hosts 100 innovative companies employing more than 600 people.

Following the guidelines set out in the aims of the Foundation, numerous actions will be developed throughout 2026, in collaboration with the Council for Education, Universities and Employment, aimed at stimulating and promoting research, development and innovation in the Valencia region. The promotion of innovation through the EXPOINNOVA project, with face-to-face and streaming sessions on current topics in innovation; or the internationalization and management of international projects through the Globaltech programme, will continue to focus on the use of large national and European research infrastructures.

Dissemination of science and technology will continue to play a prominent role through consolidated initiatives such as EXPOCIÈNCIA and ACTIVAPARC: Social and international projection of companies and research institutes together with advanced services and sustainability actions articulated around the Crece Sostenible programme.

The FPCUV will continue to collaborate in 2026 with the City of Paterna in improving the infrastructures of the Science Park, as well as with the Council for Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism in developing initiatives aimed at strengthening the transfer of university-based knowledgebusiness, support for innovative entrepreneurship and improving the impact of dissemination actions.

For the development of all these activities, the FPCUV has provided a budget for the year 2026 of more than 3 million euros, these resources come mostly from the own activities of the Foundation, of which 7% will be investments.
