Spanish science and technology parks in Cordoba discuss how AI can boost their key activities

The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE), of which the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) is a member, and its member parks will meet on 18 and 19 October at the Cordoba Technology Park to hold their third General Assembly of the year, which will review the work carried out by APTE in recent months, proposals on how artificial intelligence can help the development of key activities will be presented and the VI Awards for the Dissemination of Science and Technology Parks in the Spanish Press will be presented

This assembly will take place within the framework of the Conference on Opportunities in the Defense Sector for Technological and Innovative Companies organized by the Cordoba Technology Park on the 18th together with the University of Cordoba, the Andalusian Regional Government, the Cordoba City Council and the Cetemet Foundation. In addition, on the same day, the science and technology parks will discuss the application of Artificial Intelligence to improve the management of these ecosystems in a round table followed by a follow-up meeting of the work plan of the APTE Technicians Network.

On the 19th, APTE will hold its General Assembly in which it will welcome a new science and technology park that reaches the category of Partner, i.e., operating park, the Science Park of the University of Salamanca, as well as a new park project, Kudos San Fernando. Also, during the Assembly, tribute will be paid to the Vigo Technology Park on the 20th anniversary of its constitution.

After the General Assembly, APTE will present the 6th Awards for the Dissemination of Science and Technology Parks in the Spanish Press. This award, now in its 6th edition, aims to recognize the work of the print and online media that best publicize the activities carried out by science and technology parks throughout Spain. The awards will be presented by the president of APTE, Felipe Romera Lubias, accompanied by José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, Minister of University, Research and Innovation of the Andalusian Regional Government; Manuel Torralbo Rodríguez, rector of the University of Córdoba; José María Bellido Roche, mayor of Córdoba and Juan Antonio Caballero, president of the Córdoba Technology Park.
