The SIR Register is a public and administrative instrument attached to the Conselleria de Economía Sostenible, Sectores Productivos, Comercio y Trabajo. Furthermore, the implementation of SIR indicators contributes to the optimization of internal control and decision-making, boosting adaptability and progress in the production of sustainability information, This translates into greater transparency and competitiveness in an environment increasingly oriented towards sustainable development.
Designed specifically for the Valencian Community context, the SIR is composed of 88 indicators distributed in four areas: 22 indicators of ethical values, 48 indicators of social and labour values, 11 of environmental values and 7 of values for R+D+i. The regulations differentiate the requirements to be fulfilled according to the size of the entity, and to obtain the rating it is required to carry out a self-assessment, achieve the minimum scores in all dimensions, and submit a sustainability statement together with an external audit report.
