The Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV), of which the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) is a member, receives an investment of one million euros in 2024 from the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism
A new reinforcement in the commitment to innovation and knowledge transfer. On November 15, the Valencian Government signed a collaboration agreement with the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation (FPCUV), which manages the business area of the University of Valencia Science Park. The agreement, endowed with 200,000 euros for the year 2024, is aimed at promoting innovative entrepreneurship and the transfer of knowledge and technology between universities and companies. This agreement is part of the support line of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism to the Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV) and is in addition to those signed with other public universities in the Valencian Community. The total investment of the agreement, which includes the foundations of the five public universities, amounts to one million euros.
This agreement reinforces the commitment of the Valencian Government and the Polytechnic University of Valencia with innovation and technology transfer, promoting the conversion of knowledge into applicable solutions that benefit the business community and society in general. The agreement between the GVA and the rePCV aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology to the productive fabric and promote the creation of new companies.

In this way, the collaboration between the GVA and the PCUV, as well as the other member parks of the rePCV, reinforces the Valencian innovation system by generating synergies between the institutes and research centers and the business fabric of the Valencian Community.
These initiatives demonstrate the commitment of Valencian institutions to the development of a solid innovation ecosystem, capable of transforming academic knowledge into practical solutions that drive competitiveness and economic growth in the region.
In the words of Pedro Carrasco, director of the University of Valencia Science Park, “this agreement is a firm commitment to making innovation the driving force behind the economic development of the Valencian Community. Collaboration between universities, companies and public institutions is key to generate solutions that boost the competitiveness of the Valencian business network and add value to society. At the Science Park, we remain committed to promoting innovative entrepreneurship and the creation of synergies that transform knowledge into real impact”.

The rePCV groups the five science parks of the Valencian public universities: the Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche; Espaitec, Science and Technology Park of the Jaume I University of Castelló; the University of Valencia Science Park; the Polytechnic City of Innovation of the Polytechnic University of Valencia; and the Alicante Science Park-University of Alicante.
The objective of the rePCV is to increase the region's wealth, promote the culture of innovation and foster the competitiveness of companies and knowledge-generating institutions located in or associated with science parks. Also, to promote the diversification and growth of a new business and industrial fabric, of quality, differentiated and committed to social responsibility policies.
