The Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences has hosted this conference, which has brought together students, companies and organizations to promote the development of professional opportunities.
The forum has started with several simultaneous round tables, where professionals from different fields have shared a global vision of job opportunities and development opportunities offered by the degrees of Pharmacy, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science and Technology, Gastronomic Sciences and Optics and Optometry. These spaces have enabled the student to learn first-hand about the most in demand profiles, trends in the sector and possible training and career paths.
Subsequently, the UVemployment team has run two practical workshops aimed at improving the employability of students. The first has focused on curriculum development and personal branding, with guidelines for building an effective professional presentation; and the second has been oriented towards training through roleplaying, with activities designed to practice interviews and selection dynamics in a guided environment.

Following the institutional welcome by the Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Enric Valor i Micó; the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Hortensia Rico; and the Vice-Rector of Teacher Transformation and Permanent Training of the University of Valencia, Angeles Solanes, the day has continued with a visit to the stands of companies and collaborating entities, a space in which the student has been able to establish direct contact with companies, learn about internship and employment opportunities and get to know the needs of the sector.
The employment forums of the University of Valencia are an initiative promoted by the Vice-Rector for Lifelong Training, Teacher Transformation and Employment, key spaces to meet professional outlets, expand networking and participate in activities designed to improve employability. Thus, the University of Valencia Science Park continues to consolidate as a pole for attracting employment and business creation, also through AgrotecUV, one of the accelerators of PCUV and UV focused on agrotechnology.
