The University of Valencia Science Park Foundation (FPCUV) is among the institutional partners of the new edition of this international technological macro-event, which will be held on October 23rd and 24th in the City of Arts and Sciences together with twenty companies from the Science Park and AgrotecUV
The University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) offers through its foundation the possibility for innovative companies hosted or linked to the PCUV to participate in the next edition of the Valencia Digital Summit 2024 (VDS). Under the slogan of the seventh edition, Embracing Evolution: Invest in the leaders of tomorrow, which will explore how the current technological revolution is positively affecting society and giving voice to the brightest leaders of the global technological and innovative ecosystem, twenty companies representing innovation in the UV Science Park are part of the delegation that, for the second year, will be present next October 23 and 24 at the City of Arts and Sciences.
This activity is part of the Innovation Transfer Exhibition Program (PETI), with the support in 2024 of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Valencian Government to disseminate and disseminate applied innovation generated by the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the PCUV to the widest possible set of society, with special emphasis on specific audiences of investors, other innovative companies and startups, corporations and large companies, media, among others, hoping that this program will be of interest and useful to you.
The international technology event, organized by Startup Valencia and in which the Science Park UV participates as an institutional partner, has been bringing together key players in the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem and leading figures from the international scene since 2018. The startups that have participated in VDS between 2018 and 2024 have raised more than $18.8 billion.
Round Tables and Pitch Session
Throughout both days, they will be discussed in several activities. On Wednesday, October 23, at 9:30 am, Joaquim Morera, CTO of Deepsense, will participate in the Startup Pitch Session, as will also in a second session from 10:40 am Álvaro Sáez, CEO of HechicerIA; Mercedes Diez, director of technical development of Madeinplant; and Miriam Caballero, CEO of Espirbiòtic. The sessions will be held at the Pitch Stage, where also on Thursday, October 24, Elena Jiménez, CEO and founder of Helenis Biocosmetics, and Ángel González, CTO and co-founder of DATIPIC, will participate in a pitch session.
In the Workshop Room, on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., will take place the round table Spin-offs: A joint venture between the University of Valencia and its Science Park, moderated by Kristin Suleng, head of communication of the Fundació Parc Científic Universitat de València (FPCUV), and integrated by Luis Caballero, CEO and co-founder of Hybrims; Mercedes Diez, of Madeinplant; Carmen Rodilla, professor of Commercial Law at the University of Valencia; Vicent Clemente, head of Operations of the FPCUV; and Lucas Martínez Clar, CEO of DCN.
At 15:00 hours, the Discovery Stage will host the conversation under the title Acceleration of agri-food startups: key to success, with the moderation of Eva Bataller, head of business development at AgrotecUV, and with the participation of Sara Bañón, CEO and medical director of Ibions; and Marisa Domingo-Calap, co-founder and CEO of Evolving Therapeutics.

The Science Park and the University of Valencia will be located in stands 14-16. - CUARENTAYDOS, José Luis Oltra has a wide presence in social networks such as Youtube, Tiktok or Instagram, where he accumulates hundreds of thousands of followers. He also organizes and gives science outreach talks and workshops for many different audiences, in addition to disseminating in different formats such as writing, in the web section of the magazine Muy Interesante, in various science sections in Radio Esport Valencia and À Punt Radio or through the publication of books aimed at a children and youth audience, entitled “ No somos el centro del universo” (2022) and “Un viaje por el universo” (2024).
- DATIPIC, S.L., mission is to extract knowledge from large volumes of data of different types (numbers, images, video, text, etc.) and use it to create innovative products and solutions especially in the agri-food and automotive sectors. In this way, we help our customers to make intelligent decisions and to optimize their processes and actions.
- DAWAKO MEDTECH, S.L., is a young medical device company whose goal is to enable a new paradigm in the field of biomedical imaging for Digital Health and Precision Medicine. The company's mission is to develop an innovative next-generation wearable biomedical imaging technology platform for remote patient monitoring and intelligent analysis of ultrasound imaging biomarkers in a cost-efficient way, enabling an innovative business model: Medical Device-as-a-Service (MdaaS).
- ESPIRBIÒTIC is dedicated to the development of fermented yogurts with spirulina and probiotics, which, thanks to their nutritional properties, promote the digestive health of dogs and cats. Using local ingredients, the initiative not only promotes sustainability, but also strengthens the connection with our pets in a healthy and natural way.
- EVOLVING THERAPEUTICS, S.L., is a spin-off of the University of Valencia based on the implementation of the use of bacteriophages, bacterial viruses commonly known as phages, for the treatment of pathogenic bacteria under the One Health concept. Its services include isolation and production of specific phages against problem bacteria, with pathogen-targeted therapies, with zero waste and ecologically sustainable.
- HECHICER-IA develops artificial intelligence software for the automatic conversion of text into 3D animations. The company already has an elaborate software product called Current Anima. The company aims to solve the paradigm of text conversion in videos, video games and VR/AR/ER environments. Current Anima is the software resulting from this project and is currently focused on the audiovisual sector for the automatic generation of storyboards using scripts.
- HELENIS BIOCOSMETICS focuses on the R&D, production and marketing of a biocosmetics line which includes different products to carry out a complete routine: cleansing and microbiome modulating facial foam, eye contour with lifting and plumping effect, facial serum with WOW effect, firming and illuminating facial cream, bath gel and shampoo that increases the diversity of the microbiome and reduces irritation/redness, and facial and body cream, which also has a soothing, anti-irritant and antioxidant effect.
- HUBALINNO is a gamified metaverse that digitally transforms education and training with all its benefits. Together with the educational part, its objective is to have the student much more motivated, with the focus on the contents to be learned and, above all, to have that immersive experience that makes learning much more attractive.
- I+D SOLUTIONS, is a company dedicated to the development of integrated business management solutions. It offers a wide range of applications for the optimization of business processes: financial management, analysis, human resources, projects, customer relationship management, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce.
- INSTITUTO IBIONS, S.L.P., is an online medical service of nutritional treatment in cancer, which has a multidisciplinary team focused on improving nutrition from the latest scientific evidence. Doctors, scientists and psychologists who seek to transmit their knowledge to individuals and companies.
- MADEINPLANT, spin-off of the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Plants UPV-CSIC, focuses on the production of biomolecules in plants as sustainable biofactories and development of biotechnological tools.
- MEDITERRANEAN ALGAE is a startup from Alicante that cultivates marine macroalgae on land in a sustainable way. Through rapid and controlled growth they are able to obtain biomass and bioactive compounds of high value for food, cosmetics and nutraceuticals. In addition, it produces a positive environmental impact and supports environmental sustainability through the bioremediation of contaminated waters.
- IMSDRONES is an ICT company specialized in the development and manufacture of drones. With the aim of meeting the needs of different industrial and institutional sectors, the company designs and develops 100% of the platforms, systems and manufacturing of drones, in addition to performing the maintenance and training involved in their applications and the development of electronic engineering of cutting-edge technologies.
- VALGENETICS, S.L., is a company committed to the continuous search for quality, excellence and competitive improvement based on research and innovation. Its mission is to be pioneers in offering unique solutions to key needs of companies and organizations whose field of activity revolves around the agricultural, agri-food and agri-biotechnology sector.
- DARWIN BIOSPROSPECTING EXCELLENCE, founded by scientists from the University of Valencia and CSIC, as well as experts in the economic and industrial sector, offers bioprospecting services, i.e., obtaining natural microorganisms for their application in industrial or biomedical processes.
